Hey guys, I have a 1972 VW Standard Beetle and the issue I’m having here is that the motor will spin freely all except for one spot where it’s stops and no matter how much you turn the key it won’t crank or anything until you stick a wrench in it and spin it by hand, it takes a bit of force to move past the spot then it will fire right back up, it does this hot and cold but almost always when hot very rarely when cold. The car has new points, new ignition coil and brand new battery. Starter still spins nice and strong. Could this be vapor lock of some kind?? Any ideas?
