Thanks again to all participants in New Mexico. Ernie and all, I had to go back and look at our comments and procedures for 2012 concerning points. We clarified the points after the first race in Salt Lake and outlined the following with agreement. Please look at results Salt Lake 2012.

Points are awarded in the following steps. Quick and Sport classes.

#1..... Participation entry = 10 points
#2..... Total car count entry at event which is a total of both classes = 23 in New Mexico 2013.. ( Exception Denver, Quick only )
#3..... Rounds entered, staged for round = 12 points
#4..... Win of class = 12 points
#5..... Best member package bonus in rounds = 5 points
#6..... Best Reaction in rounds = 5 points

So as an example
Randy Bowen.... 10 pts entry
23 pts bonus car count
48 pts rounds entered ( 4 )
12 pts event win
total...................................93 Quick class winner
David Smith......10 pts entry
23 pts bonus car count
48 pts rounds entered ( 4 )
total...................................81 Quick class runner up
Neither driver nets a bonus.

Example
Matt Radick ( mechanical issues , entry, qualified and did not stage first round quick )
10 pts entry
23 pts bonus
total...................................33 points

I would like to have confirmation on this procedure before points are recalculated. This matches the 2012 season procedures.
