Other forms of racing uses carbon fiber wheels and I was just curious if any drag cars have tried them?

Who will be the first PRA racer to use them before a rule comes out to ban them ?
IMO I would use carbon fiber wheels before using real BRM wheels on a bug.

theses are like $1800 a piece
where as the Magnum draglite 2.0 you can get for like $400
hell even the 16"X16" Double beadloc ones are only $1400

a friend of mine uses carbon rims, there on a V8 car, he runs deep into the 8's on them. no problem yet

I believe this car used carbon fiber wheels on the rear.
