It's a NSU Prinz 4.

The company NSU was acquired by Volkswagen Group in 1969. VW merged the company with Auto Union, to eventually evolve into Audi as it is known today.

Interesting I had never seen or heard of a NSU.

So would I be right to assume they are rare?

Looks solid and straight at least ,please keep us updated on the progress
