hey guys i need to find a light weight front tires i am kind of a nut when it comes to weight i have the nankang 135 on rigth now

If you look on somewhere like jegs.com they show weights for most of the drag tyres, you want something around a 22.5/3.5/15 front runner, M&H are good

My Nankang 135s died (came apart) of old age (15 years) before the tread was done.

I went with Firestone 135s this time.

M&H makes a great front tire for a VW

I run the M&H on my car as well. With it being a race car I would not put a street tire on the front. Street tires pick up water. I am never the first person in the lanes and I always look at what the guy in front of me uses for front tires. The ones running street tires and drive through the water will leave some of that at the starting line or sling it off going down the track.. My car is not very calm leaving and I do not need anything to help it get crazy.

Just my opinion. Some people may use them and never have an issue..I am just not that lucky.

X2 it amazes me when I see street cars with pain ole tires do a water burnout they just drag it to the line
