Anyone have one loose wheel laying around they want to get rid of? Or two if they are cheap!

The thought actually crossed my mind, I actually have a few of them already. They just aren't heavy duty enough. They have a 1/4" axle, pretty wimpy for a car! I think "real" wheels use a 5/16" axle.
Eric, I've got a pair you can have. They are the hard plastic kind. I'll measure the width and axle size for you later.
If you want them you can have them. I took them off my Pro Stocker and replaced them with Big Wig wheels. Big Wigs are rubber and have bearings whereas these do not. For the $ the Big Wigs are the way to go in IMO.

Here are the wheels I've got Eric. Also a pic of the Big Wig Wheels. $36 for the BW.
I'll send you mine for free.

This thread reminds me... back in 1977, I built a set of rear struts and matching wheelie bars for my motorcycle that I used to occasionally drag race at Fremont Raceway on Wednesday nights.

I did what any enterprising, motivated, and no-money teen would do... I robbed a couple of wheels from my skateboard! Kryptonics wheels (in lime green, no-less) w/the coveted German sealed bearings. You have to remember, this was 1977, only a few years after the first urethane skateboard wheel came out
Eric, Look around the Plant. There are old machines that are Scrap with wheels on them. Bang the pins out and you have the wheels. Remember there is not much pressure on the wheels and if there is ..... Its not for very long. Never saw a wheeie bar wheel brake loose. Just a few bars getting bent up :surprise:
