Hello VW racers

Just a gentle reminder that we will be opening the MSVWRA season in Alb New Mexico this coming weekend. The event will be an all VW style event. Car show, Swap meet and MSVWRA racing classes. Please visit the MSVWRA facebook page for the flier and info. This event will be a club clash type event with the V8 CLUB classes supporting the VWs. YES, you read that correctly.

The end of the night will have a king of the hill race against the class winning VW againt the V8 class club winner. Should be some good ole fun with that one!

Looking forward to seeing how big this event becomes. Safe travels to all!

There were some Mustangs and Mopars practicing at the track last weekend. I'm like you Eric, I can't wait to see how big this is going to be this year. The track owner and manager are definetely supporting us in our endevour. Bigger this year than last year is certain and we outnumbered all the other makes and models.

If we are lucky enough to have you join us, please remember to prepare for all weather conditions. We have a saying here, "we get all four seasons here in Albuquerque, sometimes all in the same day." It looks like it's going to be warm this year to start with and perfect later in the evening (if you can believe the weatherman).

What's better than Saturday night racing under the lights with people lined up against the fence pulling for the VW's?

We are looking forward to having our friends and racers at the New Mexico MSVWRA opening race. Guaranteed purse money. Consolation class for first round runner ups. Winner of Quick VW gets to race the other club winners for bragging rights. The weather looks like it's going to be very good. Everyone is gearing up for the big event. This Should be a great time. Be Safe. Have fun. See you this weekend.
