been busy with the car out of the way making calliper adapters for the strange brakes to Porsche hubs, transmission parts have left at last for Germany so the 6 month wait begins :)

so this transmission thing has been driving me mad so I think this is it, I think it will still be on the power at 8200 rpm, and remember the tyre grows an inch @150 mph. Its a chicken and egg thing no data from the engine as I cant run it as I don't have a trans yet so this is best guess.

26" tyre
3.88 FD
change at 8k

Gear RPM MPH

1st 2.75 0 58
2nd 1.88 5500 85
3rd 1.44 6000 114
4th 1.05 6000 152
Maybe
5th 0.77 5900 207

engine should be on boost by 5500 rpm

maybe we have the formula?

any input would be great

bsp? Why? ?? those POS submarines we bought from you guys across the pond have those bastard fitting all over em!

killer build btw, all all the custom CNC stuff is awesome! !! I want a mill in my shop real bad!
we like BSP over here lol plus I had the tap already,

Only went to the office to tidy up as I've got my NICEIC yearly check tmw and the place looks like a machine shop not an electrical contractors lol and found

So I got distracted and made some hoses lol

Not sure if to mount the vacuum regulator here

Started on the vacuum catch tank

I've got to remove some more material and put some wadding and the outer on yet and some oring groves and breather holes it's works out about 3l which I think is about the correct size

Vacuum catch tank 95% done lets just hope it works

O-Ring grove done and breather holes done

bit of foam to act a baffle

just got to swap the out case from stainless to aluminium when the material arrives
