NASA Double/Double - Magazine Race & BBQ, October 19, 2008

Sacramento Raceway
Gates open at 8am


NASA will be hosting 2 races on this date.
First race will be the all important NASA Double Points race for all
regular NASA members. Practice will promptly start at 9am. Immediately
following the 2nd round of qualifying, we will have a drivers meeting
and the ladder will be available.
Eliminations will start shortly after this drivers meeting. We hope to
have this race completed by noon at which point we will enjoy a BBQ
hosted by ZAMP Helmets and Coca Cola of Sacramento. You are encouraged
to bring a pot-luck side dish.

Second race will be an Open race for all VW Racers. This race is open
to all VW, Porsche, and Audi vehicles. Both Air and Water Cooled
vehicles, manual and automatic transmissions are invited.
We will use the same NASA race format. Drivers will get 2 practice
runs. A ladder will be set based on reaction time scored during the
practice runs.
Regular NASA racers can race the 2nd race at no additional cost.

Trophies will be awarded to Winner and Runner-Up.

Also on the agenda is a visit from the fine staff at HotVW's magazine.
A crew from the publication will be on hand to cover this event.
Photo's and interviews will be taken for a feature write-up.
This is a great opportunity to get some exposure for yourself and your sponsors.
Winner's of this event will undoubtedly see their name in lights.
