I posted this same question on a different VW forum last year hoping someone from the old NCVU club would respond. I never did get a response from anyone. Maybe I will have better luck here.

Well I found another old NCVU member last night, or more like he found me. I was hangin with the Nor Cal Transporter Bus dudes at DQ last night and this guy walks over from the restaurant next door and as soon as he is close enough to see me, he screams out "Hey Rich". It is Mike Suit. Mike had the first chop'd bug in our club. Man we thought our stuff was bad back then. Brian Watts and I ran around with this guy some 20 years ago or so. I was bangin my head last night trying to remember the last time I saw Mike, so my head hurts today. This was a chance meeting, he had no idea I was going to be at DQ last night. Very cool to see an old member of NCVU.

I was going for the EC-extratrestial car thing and no, my bus had the skirt on. My friend Louie used to call me the squeege.BadDogRacing said:

That was my first ever street race.
He was the guy who took me under his wing.
