Hello, thanks for the add. 73' Super Beetle owner here (plus 2 TDIs MK4 Golf, MK5 Jetta )

It's been sitting for a minute. It was my daily for many moons.

I'm the second owner since 1982...yeah, I'm an old fart.

Finally go it back under my roof, and have the money to get her right. Doesn't need much outside paint and interior.

Anyone here in middle GA?

I've been involved with VW's since high school (1968 ). Lost count of how many I've owned. The latest is a 1967 Beetle. I'm running a 1776 dual 40 IDF Weber set up and Rancho Pro Street Freeway flyer transaxle. Been in So Cal for 72 years. View attachment 14101 View attachment 14102

Welcome to UAC @JoseyWales45! Please post up some pics of that 73 - lots of nostalgia with that one for me. I had 2 of them, one yellow and one gold

Thanks for the reminder! I found a couple old ones. Me circa 1984, about 2 years after purchase...my first car. Then my daughter with it in about 1994, she's now 31)
And today as she continues to wait for some TLC. I plan to drop the rear, add disc brakes all the way around, new interior kit, and the big dig a new paint job if I can find someone that will do me right.
