What does a 20 year old spontaneous kid do at 2:00 AM on a saturday. THE saturday before Fontana? He wakes up his dad and says "Lets go to Fontana." And just like that, we're off! Totally spontaneous. Man, I worry myself sometimes. ??? :D See you guys there!

Guys, it was terrible, there I was, dreaming of food I think, like always and all of the sudden that kid of mine wakes me up with the "lets go to Fontana" speal. Now I know why animals eat their young. This last time this kid did this to me, it was the vintage show at Kelly Park in San Jose and darned if we didn't do the same thing. Left the house to go to Kelly park at 10pm. This time it was actually worse. A longer drive and left Sacramento later this time, 3am. All in all, it was a great trip, more to follow.

Well, This weekend was pretty awesome. With Sacramento coming up in less than 2 months, this event was projected to be not as big as last year's Drag-In (possibly other reason's as well :-\). I had fun for sure. Sure, I drove 900 miles while being awake for 40 hours but it obviously wasn't enough to slow me down. Plus I had pops with me to keep me awake. We left the house @ 3 am and got to track at 9:15 am. Tough luck for Eric Madson. :'( Really sorry to hear about all the BS. Also for Jason and Jerry who didint even get to make a run. :'( Those guys work TOO hard to not succeed, and by golly they will. Like I told Jason, not if, but when. My good buddy Jason Young had some trouble as well. His steering coupler BROKE on his 3rd run and the wheel and column came out. He was able to jam it down and drive safely off the track. It was great seeing everyone and we'll see you again soon. Keep your chins up fellas.

Minutes before we left Sac. It looks like I am already sleeping.
