Just love the old fire burnout shots!

I realize it's demise is probably due to insurance,injury,or accidents that might have happened to cars, drivers, or photographers attempting it that didn't know how.

I would LOVE to shoot a car like they did with a fire burnout. Be great poster or calender shot !!!!!
Anyone car to try with me?

I am trying to get a hold of Lloyd Mosher about how they did it just to get an idea?

I would only try once we had a safe and well thought out plan for everyone safety.

Hey Brian. It seems like Clyde Berg did this before as well. I thing they just put down gas and light it as soon as the driver hits the throttle.
I am there if you need me for safety crew. Madsen/Watts fire burnout, I like the way that sounds.
