My '66 square has been bastardized! I have an original caliper on the left front and a BMW caliper on the right front... I have not driven the car but have kept it stashed away as a project. It's time to get it going and now I need to get the brakes working correctly.
I'm having a tough time finding the correct replacement for the front right caliper. I realize that other calipers from VW cars will bolt on, but none seem to have the 42mm piston that the early disc brake type 3s have.
Is there a good aftermarket front disc kit on the market that will work with the early type 3 spindles? And allow me to retain the 4 lug wheel pattern?
