I have always liked the BOR events. Besides being in my front yard, it is where a lot of 1/4 miles records have been set. I remember some years ago when they first posted records in the magazine, well over half of the 1/4 records had been set at a Sac BOR event. Thats got to tell you something about the drag racing here in Sac.

I was so insulted by the Ramma crew thus year that I link I'll stay away from now on.... That's too bad too... I don't miss too many of them, even liv'n in Louisiana....

Looks like BOR is a runaway favorite here.
I have participated in every way possible. Swaps, Racing, Dealer Display, and Car Show over the years.
Most recently have become a sponsor and help work the car show in addition to the racing program.

I have actually been going to BOR since the second event back in 1979. I missed the first event and have only missed 2 other BOR's when I moved to Wash state.
This is the newspaper article out of the Sac Bee dated July 14, 1978, for the very first BOR back in 1978 and dash plaques from BOR III and IV.
