it is defenantly worth attending and racing at.

I'll try to get my car ready for it. I haven't made a full pass this season yet. I've lost my motivation somewhere this year. Maybe it's behind the couch. I'll check there later this week.......

Seriously though, Grand Junction and Vegas are the only two out of state races I hit anymore. Awesome time. Grand Junction is laid back, a day full of bench racing and just plain hanging out. I just love the attitude of that race. Then Vegas is, well, Vegas! lol

Yea, sounds like they're going to try to show up. I really need to get my butt in gear. I'm booked the next two weekends. This is going to end up being a thrash to hit the race. That should be exciting, lol!

If I make it (I should), the wheelie bars are staying home this year. ;D

Okay, think Art and Brad are getting geared up. Birks is possibly getting motivated to get his motor back together in his car to make it too maybe. I'll talk to him later today to see what his plan is.

I managed to get the top end of my motor pulled down and re-honed the cylinders last night. Hopefully have this baby together this weekend so i'll be ready. Would like to make a local race to make sure everthing is on the up and up. We'll see!

Can't get any of the street car guys interested at all though.

Sorry you're missing Sacto, Eric.

Hey, was there a TNT on Friday night before the show? Is there a breakfast get together on Sunday morning? I need to be more prepared this year since I got to GJ after midnight the night before the show and had to jet out of town at 5am Sunday morning.

I need to 'schedule accordingly' this year. ;)

Just another clutch setup.....slipping is a good/bad thing. Pulled the motor put in the killer clutch to race...broke another axle  Now the whole car is apart. I will not run the car again until the axle thing is fixed. I am running out of lives...used eight this year alone. The ninth may be the big wreck if I continue in that fashion.

Alright Eric,

I took my car out to the Midnight Drags tonight to do some shake down runs to make sure everything was good.

Good thing I did, my fuel pump is cutting out. I think 2 full seasons of Ethanol running through it has taken a toll on it. Bummer.

Still ran a 12.4 @ 105 with the fuel pump cutting in and out the whole way down the track. She should be running hard at Grand Junction in a couple weeks, should have it fixed in no time.

Okay, one last free weekend to get everything squared away before Grand Junction!

I've got my hotel room booked, going to get the grill, cooler, etc, etc, all loaded up next week.

I've tried to corral as many SLC guys as I could, but they're all lightweights. It might just be me and the Briks's. Maybe a couple street car guys will make it. Geeze, you'd swear it was winter up here already, lol.

I'll keep pushing it though. Those that don't make it to this event have no idea how much fun they're missing!
