I put 195/65/15 tires on the Bug as I wanted the extra width. The wheels are stock VW steelies with an ET25. With the 30mm extra tire width the tires stick out beyond the fenders. So the solution is to get wheels with a ET45 to bring the tires back under the fenders, but does anyone know if the will cause rubbing? I can find Porsche 914 wheels with an ET35 but not sure the 10mm is worth it. I cannot be the only person who wanted the extra comfort of a wider tire. Any advice is appreciated. Especially on solutions and where I can find wheels with a ET45.
