New Billet Wheels

The wheels are balanced separately at the time of production. The compressor wheel is them put on the turbine wheel and balanced as a rotating assembly. When things spin 80-120K, you don't take chances.

My guess will be the billet one is heavier. Although it's heavier, it won't flex under high RPM and Boost. Prob will make a small differance. But, everything helps. If for some reason it doesn't make more power.... than I'm sure they can make differant combos with blade pitch, inducer/exducer/trim sizes and really tweak it in, so it will make more power in the end.

For those of you that do not follow us on Facebook we are getting ready to launch a new series of turbos. They will be known as the GSX series. These will be BILLET Wheel, Journal bearing units. Before we could only offer Billet wheels on Ball Bearing units. Now that we are doing our own Billet Wheels many new doors have been opened for custom builds. This new GSX line is perfect for the guy who wants the flow benefits of the Billet wheel, without paying for a Ball Bearing unit. We expect these to do very well in the air cooled community :thumbsup:
